Compliance Hierarchy
Not all rules are created equal. When two rules cannot both be followed, one is more important. The compliance hierarchy is a guide to determining which must be followed.

Grievances
If you have a complaint about a possible equity violation - discrimination, harassment, and/or sexual misconduct - please follow the procedures as outlined by the Equity Office.
If you are a student with a complaint about a possible policy violation, please follow the procedures as outlined by the Dean of Students.
If you have a complaint about a possible policy violation involving faculty behavior, please follow the procedures as outlined by the Faculty Senate.
If you do not know the proper procedure to follow, or you do not believe that your complaint about a possible policy violation falls under one of the above three categories, please contact the S&T Grievance Committee.
